THE ROUTE FOR ALL THREE EVENTS IS THE SAME IN THE FIRST 10 KM!
Near the 10th km, in the Piazza Roma area, the 21km athletes will continue along the route and then turn into Corso Mazzini while the competitive and NON-competitive 10km athletes will end their route right in Piazza Roma!
The new suggestions of the Cremona half marathon. We could thus summarize the new path of the Half marathon Cremona of October 2016.
The idea was to put together the architectural qualities and peculiarities, history and environment of our area, of our city.
We researched the better balance in a beautiful context, nice route and least possible discomfort for all the others.
The departure and immediately the grandeur of the columns of Ponchielli Theatre, intimate relationship with Po river and the centenary iron bridge at the third kilometre, il Morbasco at 16th to remind us that we are a city on the plain crossed by water, the campaign of Former Parmesan wood in the municipality of Gerre de' Caprioli and the sensational skyline over the city returning to it.
The historical-architectural emotions are enclosed in the city route where Lui the Torrazzo the tallest bell tower in Europe is the protagonist, at the sixth kilometer from Piazza Cadorna, at the 10th kilometer from via Manzoni and Piazza Roma where there will be the relay change, at 19′ km from Corso 20 September. Absolutely unique glimpses of rare beauty.
We add the beautiful Roman church of S. Michele, the delightful little temple of S. Luca, the transition between S. Agata and Cittanova Palace where secularism and Faith are mirrored as upon arrival in Town Hall Square.
However, the symbol image is that of vicolo S. Homobonus and the church in the background of the lay patron of our city.
We are certain that new features and beauties will help all Runners to make the fatigue of a track that will also be fast and performing "lighter".
We have worked hard, passion and love for running, because only those who run know how beautiful it is to do it.
